Technical Support for Unix Server Admin & Support WANTED. Technical Support for Unix Server Admin & Support wanted, with minimum 2
years corporate experience in the technical support industry. Strong communications and
time management skills are essential for this position.
Job Requirements Include:
- Excellent working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS,
MySQL and UNIX (FreeBSD) web hosting administration.
- Knowledge of database design, search engine optimization,
design and navigation.
- Ability to do over the phone trouble shooting with
end-users.
- Experience working with Photoshop, ImageReady, and text
editor to produce complete websites.
- Able to develop, test, refine and deliver flawless
results, working either as a member of a team or solo.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Positive attitude.
Skills/Qualities that are a definite
plus.
- Working knowledge of XML, AJAX, DNS, PGP,
Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator
- Configuration and administration of Apache,
Sendmail, MySQL, FreeBSD
- Familiarity and experience with web
application related security issues.
- Knowledge of formal program analysis and
design processes, and quality assurance methodology.
- Experience with graphic design, particularly
in user interface design, typesetting and information architecture
- Willingness to put in extra hours as
needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
environment.
- Motivated by pride in own work and one’s
responsibility to contribute to team success.
- Ability to learn, adapt, innovate and keep
up-to-date with industry advances
- Creative flair.
- Able to perform from planning and design stages of programming lift
cycle.
